  1. That may be, but some of your illustrations here, e.g. Metatrons Cube, are hexagonal. That is to say, they have six-fold symmetry. The dodecahedron has five-fold symmetry. Those are two different things. It is probably more accurate to say that the unity that is the universe encompasses both the icosahedral and hexahedral symmetries.
    Madame Helena Blavatsky was one who claimed that the Universe was a dodecahedron and others have since, including modern cosmologists who point out that the dodecahedron most closely approximates a sphere.
